Kennel Assistant
West Michigan Street Veterinary Clinic is a high-volume, full-service, fast-paced clinic on the west side of Indianapolis seeking an energetic, positive kennel assistant to join our close-knit team. Applicants will be expected to restrain cats and dogs safely, communicate with clients, keep the facility sanitary and clean, and assist veterinarians and assistants with many daily tasks. Restraint experience is required. Specific training for in-house lab machines and radiographs will be provided. This position is full-time to part-time, hourly, and will have one Saturday shift per month.
Bilingual (Spanish) applicants will be preferred, but this is not a requirement.
Client Service Representative
West Michigan Street Veterinary Clinic is a high-volume, full-service, walk-in, fast-paced clinic on the west side of Indianapolis. We are currently seeking an energetic, positive, patient, friendly, experienced Veterinary CSR . You are expected to provide excellent customer service, reacting appropriately to emergencies and client concerns as they arise as well as engaging in judgement-free client education. Bilingual (Spanish) applicants will be preferred, but this is not a requirement. Some duties include welcoming clients and patients to the clinic, checking patients in and out, entering client information correctly, answering phone calls, texts, and emails, responding to voicemails, confirming surgery appointments, refilling medications prescribed by doctors, cleaning, taking payments, balancing cash drawer at the end of the day, attaching medical records to patient histories, and acting as a liaison between doctors and clients. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Veterinarian (Relief/Associate)
West Michigan Street Vet Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our fast-paced team. Experience in shelter medicine is a plus! We are a respected high-volume, low-cost practice serving the near West side of Indianapolis. Our mission is to provide affordable full-service medical, vaccine, and surgical care (except aesthetic surgeries) to cats and dogs. Our team is dedicated to helping pet owners keep their pets happy and healthy despite their financial constraints. Veterinarians must be licensed to practice in the state of Indiana and possess both DEA license and national accreditation.
We offer benefits for full-time doctors, including annual CE allowance, payment of state licensing and INVMA fees, bonuses, paid time off, and at-cost personal pet services. We are currently looking for a full-time, part-time, or relief veterinarian, as many or as few days per week as you wish. No night or emergency hours! We are fully equipped with a full suite of in-house lab machines, reference lab, ultrasound, therapy laser, and digital radiograph capabilities for all of your diagnostic and treatment needs, as well as a fully-stocked pharmacy.
